LifeWays Appoints New CCO, David Lowe

LifeWays is pleased to announce that David Lowe has accepted and begun his new role as Chief Clinical Officer. Lowe previously served as LifeWays’ Executive Director of Access & Crisis, where he played a pivotal role in expanding critical services, strengthening clinical pathways, and improving outcomes for individuals and families across Jackson and Hillsdale Counties.

A dedicated mental health professional, Marine Corps veteran, husband, and father of three, Lowe brings more than 15 years of combined experience in clinical mental health counseling, policy development, compliance, and program management. His breadth of expertise and commitment to service uniquely position him to lead LifeWays’ clinical strategy and service delivery into the future.

Lowe earned his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Siena Heights University, where his graduate studies provided a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, ethical leadership, and program evaluation. Over the course of his career, he has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to improving care quality, strengthening systems, and advocating for individuals with mental health needs.

In addition to his professional roles, Lowe actively contributes to mental health advocacy, veteran support initiatives, and community-based organizations focused on family well-being. He has worked collaboratively with local and statewide partners to shape policy, secure funding, and expand access to essential services for underserved and vulnerable populations.
